    Why Can't I download 360 games via backward compatibility ?


    Hello, I've always had a problem with downloading Xbox 360 games from the games with gold area. It always says "Sorry, we cannot make this purchase from Xbox.com, please make this transaction on your Xbox." I always do it on my Xbox, but it thinks it's on
    Xbox.com. This is really really frustrating...

    I will get dirt3 with beckvard if im alredy downloaded and didnt show me in my queve this game later to my xbox one?

    If you've cued it for download from either a 360 or the website it should be available to download via "my games & apps" when backwards compatibility is released to everyone.

    Trouble Downloading Lego Star Wars TCS on Xbox One

    Lego Star Wars Is A Free Game of the week and i was wondering why my friend isn't able to download it. I was able to download it fine on my X1 but my friend can't. It says that his Xbox is unable to Download that specific item. I was wondering why this was
    happening. It is 360 game. Is it something wrong with the Backwards Compatibility?

    If you're on a child account, you'll have to make the purchase from a 360 console. Otherwise, make sure you have a credit card or Paypal on file to make the purchase.

    I've made sure already that my account isn't a child account, but if it were, is it ever possible to change that?

    If the age of the account is under 18, then it's a child account. Once it's 18, then you can promote it to an adult account.

    Hi,

    As some additional information. to the answer already specified.

    The backward compatible game while it is the same game the download is basically different version of the game, being the backward compatible version of the game. This is also the reason why inserting a backward compatible game via disc will result in the
    backward compatible version being downloaded (disk is still required to start the game)

    So in order for you to download that backward compatible version you will have to login to the Xbox Live Account that is used on the 360, which allows you to download backward compatible games that you own.

    It's not gears 3, (for as far as i know gears 3 is not backwards compatible)

    I can't download any backwards compatible game.

    Is there another way then to log in on a xbox 360 console? like if i buy a physical disc of a backwards compatible game, would it work then? and would i be able to download 360 games after that.
