Why can't I choose Thailand as a location?

I purchased an Xbox One in Dubai. I want to use it in Laos. My credit card is linked to a bank account in Thailand. When setting up the Xbox you have to choose a location. But Thailand is not included in the list of countries. Why not and what can I do to
be able to purchase games using my credit card from Thailand?

Hello everyone,

So I've got a Xbox one from the US and live in thailand, I've already migrated my xbox live account to thailand appropriately. When I go into the Movies app and try to watch anything that I've purchased, it says I can't do that, my console settings do not
match my location. Alright, so off to the location settings and let's set it to thailand, well I can't there is no thailand in the list.

What do I do ?

Also, why can't the system tell me first that I'll not be able to watch anything I'm going to purchase, before I spend my money on it ?

how do I unlock gifts in Thailand? I have gone up a level, maxed the bingos twice to get 155 extras and still cannot get the Thailand level two rewards. Why? How do you get that

 

Unfortunately Thailand is not supported by Live so you would be unable to use a Thailand credit card.

 

Thanks for your reply. Yes, that is very unfortunate. Can I still acquire games by purchasing a physical CD/box version?

 

I have now found a way to buy games from microsoft by changing location and buying gift cards with my Thailand credit card. It works... GTA V is downloading as I write!
