    It's beyond broken. The interface in general is infuriating. Most people blame themselves when they can't figure things out, but I know it failed leadership within a company as to why bad experiences plague users. I just wish a company could could feel
    the emotions of every angry person they create as they stumble through this junk.

    Please be mindful when posting on the forums., I understand that you are frustrated, but it's not a place to rant. We are here to help you, so please don't take it out on us. Hopefully we can collectively
    point you in the right direction.

    When amending account information, I always recommend doing so on PC, so you have compete ease of access to do so. If you want to add a new card, see this page:

    https://account.microsoft.com/billing/payments

    If you want to change the address on your account,

    visit this page    , and scroll to the bottom, where it says Address. Click on the Address Book link and you should be able to edit as you wish.

    Hello,

    The change of address is made through the webiste, for security reasons. The Microsoft account can give access to applications other than the Xbox. So it is only done by logging in through the website.

    Logged on to my Xbox, but not possible for me to update the billing information!!

    Same problem as I have with my Credit Card. The address is Danish, and my regionsetting is UK.

    But my problem is solved anyway, as I was able to download the game without billing address or Credit Card. Maybe the "Price" for the game has changed from beeing a purchace £ 0,00 to no longer beeing considered a purchace?

    I will close this matter, and thank everybody who took the time to answer.

    I just wanted to post on this thread to clarify a few points:

    1: The reason why it requires the credit card info is because it is still considered a "purchase" for the license to that content. Example, I sold my xbox 360 but I can still go to xbox.com to purchase a free game with gold and own the license to that game
    ( I did this with Dark Souls) so I can always install the content if I ever do get the Xbox 360 again.

    2: The credit card information isn't required more as the billing information is required. This is still considered a transaction and the console needs the billing information to complete it. You can go to Settings>Payment & Billing>Change Billing Address
    and just make sure the information is update.
