Why can't i buy it

i try to buy a game and it keeps saying "your account is unable to make this type of purchase on Xbox.com. please complete this transaction from your xbox" but im trying to do it from my xbox and its saying that. Any help?

Why can't I buy gold?

Once again, I fully expect to be totally ignored. I have been trying to have this problem FIXED since 04/28/18 and I have even done a live chat with support, which was totally USELESS. I have not been able to buy coins since April 28th, 13 DAYS! The advice
I received was to change browsers. NO HELP! This is my last attempt before I delete all Microsoft games and start shopping for an Apple. Every time I try to purchase coins, I get the message that I already own this item so the purchase cannot be made. NO ONE
has been able to tell me why and NO ONE has helped me to buy the coins. Thanks for nothing support. If no help is received in the next 24 hours I am done.

STILL waiting for this problem to be fixed. STILL cannot buy gold, it says I already own it and I DO NOT. Your initial fix allowed one series of purchase attempts to all be approved at one time. Thanks, it damn near broke my bank account since all attempts
that had been declined were instantly routed through my paymen.t method. If at all possible could you just remove the block from the time of fix on and not retroactively. I am on my last attempt to fix this before I give up on Bingo.

Are you trying to purchase a 360 game on a One? If so, you would need to make the purchase from a 360 console if you're on a child account. Otherwise, make sure you have either a credit card or Paypal on file in order to make the purchase.
