Why can't I buy Controller replacement parts in Australia?

Hi;

I am hitting brick walls with 'online chat' support and the phone call center never emailed or replied back.

I simply want to order a replacement RB/LB bumper part for my Xbox X Controller - Limited Edition Halo 20th Anniversary Edition. The surface texture is different to the standard controller buttons.

How is this possible from within Aus? The MS / Xbox store don't list the parts period. The US store doesn't ship to Australia.

As far as I know, the 20th Anniversary Halo controller is just an Elite 2 controller with a wrap on it so you need to look for Elite 2 parts

agree, I work for a company in the UK that now does Microsoft repairs on their tech including the consoles (officially).

Xbox now has official repair programs through companies like iFixit

Hi,

MS does not sell replacement parts and does not support self repair anywhere.

So if you can't or don't want to send it in for repair you'd had to use some used 'normal' bumper. Maybe you'll have some luck and find a broken Halo one on ebay or so.
