    Why cant I buy bedrock only instead of Both java and bedrock?


    Hi I had both bedrock and java edition on two different microsoft accounts, but now since the combined the bundle of java + bedrock i only have java now. Why do i need to buy java again just to get bedrock too?

    Hi Jess!

    When did you acquire your Minecraft Java and Bedrock licenses on both of your accounts? Are they all Migrated to a Microsoft account?

    Based on the FAQ from Minecraft below, you should be getting the other version of game on each of your account for free. You may try to visit this link from store https://aka.ms/JavaBedrockEdition if it lets you get it for free without buying them.
