Why can't I buy ANYTHING or change my payment method?

So I tried to buy Fallout 3, it didn't work, I tried to buy Xbox gold, it didn't work. Problem: I can't change my payment method to Xbox money. Why wont it let me??!

Xbox cant buy stuff

Hello i have the same Problem. Can't buy anything from the Store. All my Payment Options disapeared. I'm from Germany. Pre-ordered Games still are preordered with my Payment Options for example with Paypal but i can't buy anything new. And i can't add
a new Payment Options.

I can't add points. Cna't see or change my payment info either. I am in europa. I can't change payment options either.

Are you using the console or the website? The website has never been updated to work with the currency system for 360 content, so you can only use a credit card/Paypal. You would need to use the console in order to use the currency on your Microsoft account.

That is normal for gold subscription purchases though. Gold can only be purchased via credit card/Paypal or by purchasing a prepaid gold card at a retailer.

Thanks. The question I just posted is along the same lines. I have Xbox one and trying to purchase Xbox 360 backwards compatible game with Microsoft account. Looks like in order to do this, I need xbox 360. That is really lame. Why wouldn't they update website
to use currency system for Xbox 360? Really frustrating!!

Similar problem, I'm trying to purchase Xbox 360 Backwards compatible games and it does not work. Also tried doing it on my computer and my cellphone. It is not working .

PS: This did not happen before the March Update.

Because you need a payment option on file and Ms currency doesn't count

If you are getting an cannot complete this purchase on this website please do it on the console then the issue is you need to buy it on an 360 or an adult account

If it's region error you must match your account region to your actual region

Are you trying to purchase content on Xbox.com or the console? What exact error message/code do you get on the console? Have you tried everything in the Purchasing Sticky?

I don't know about Sjcboarder, but I cannot buy or change payment method on the xbox,

I can however change payment method on xbox.com but I cannot buy anything here either.

Or rather, I've only tried buying RE4 or Microsoft points, with the intention to trick the error

and buy it with points. But no, I'm guessing that I'm unable to buy anything.

What I've read from forums and such is that it is payment method related so I've tried to

delete all my old settings, switch to paypal(as main the main payment method) which didn't work better,

switch to a new made e-bank card (thingy-what-you-call-it), no success.

So either it's entirely marketplace's fault or my large amount of different payment methods over the year

that have activate some sort of fraud suspicion lock as far as I can guess.

I have tried a couple different payment methods. It allows me to buy membership with this same payment methods. Just can't purchase anything except that .

No I haven't contacted the bank, my card and Paypal both work to buy Xbox live .
