Why Can't I Buy Add-Ons for Minecraft?

I'm having a hard time purchasing add-ons in Minecraft. When I click on the "Get Item" button for an add-on (for example I'm trying to get the furniture add-on by mob pie) it opens up a new tab and it's completely blank. It's untitled. I've tried using a different browser, copying the URL and pasting it (it just opens back up to the "get item" page), clearing my browser cache, and restarting my computer. Is there anything else I can try?

Sorry to hear you're having trouble purchasing. Are you trying to purchase through Minecraft Marketplace on web (https://www.minecraft.net/en-us/catalog)?

When you are trying to purchase through Marketplace web, it will give you a prompt to open the game. Like in the image below. You will have to select "Open Minecraft". If it's not giving you any pop-up like that, you can just launch the game and purchase directly in-game. Are you having any issue purchasing add-ons in there?

Why can't both coexist? I think they both look cool and I would gladly buy both add ons.

Thank you for contacting the forums. Which version of Minecraft are you talking about buy add-ons from? There are 3 separate versions of Minecraft (Minecraft, Minecraft Xbox One Edition and Minecraft Xbox 360 Edition). I would recommend you to buy Xbox 360
add-ons through the Xbox 360 marketplace if you specifically want add-ons on your son's Xbox 360.

I did buy the console in Israel. If it helps, for some reason my Microsoft account under billing.microsoft.com says I have two "personal accounts" - one US and one IL (Israel). I can't buy games either: I put a credit card under my ISRAELI account and whenever
I try to buy games (such as Minecraft) from the store then it says I don't have any payment info. When I try to add a new credit card, it automatically assumes I'm in the US (can't change the country). Perhaps this is the same reason why I can't download the
game? Is there a fix for this or do I have to make a new account?
