    Why can't I but a digital copy of Black Ops 3?


    Activision support says it's Microsoft's fault, Xbox support says it's Activision's fault. Wasn't the fact that every game would be available as a digital copy one of the selling points of the Xbox One?

    What is actually going on and are you trying to drive me, and a hell of a lot of other people, to the PS4?

    So it's a year later and now black ops 3 is doing it I can't play..... I have a digital copy as well.......

    Its on the web basically activision put certain demands for digital downloads

    Ms took it down till they compromised

    Activision has been ms unfriendly lately with cod and destiny games

    Not really, pre-load availability was officially announced on twitter and people are still preloading the game. Of course, there were some bugs reported with preloading, but I do not think this is the reason for pulling digital from XBL.

    Also, digital was pulled from XBL on October 4th, its been 10 days, it is impossible they could not find a fix for such a problem in this timeframe...

    Man, if this was all it took to get all of the CoD people over to PS4, think about how much nicer Xbox Live would be.

    Disconnected then kicked back to the home screen

    It happens with Just Cause 3, Black Ops 3 (which are both digital copies) and Destiny. I am using a Belkin router.

    The xbox will not allow me to install a certain game. the installation will stop close to 0% and pop up with error message

    It would help if the op posted if it's digital or a disc copy & what things they have tried.

    Not sure why you can't buy anything either.
