    Why Can't I add money to my son's account?


    When I try to add money to my son's account, I am asked how much. I select $25 and click Buy. Then I get the following Message

    "We are having trouble processing your payment and we'd like to get it sorted out."

    Great Business Model, MS doesn't take payments

    You could try to add the amount of money via prepaid cards. Maybe there is an issue with the server that the normal purchase is not work at this moment. Do you get this error on your account as well?

    To test this I just tried to add money to my daughters account and received a similar message, then tried it using my fiancee's account and it worked fine, I then tried again on my account and it worked so I think it's just a technical bug. I would still
    consider contacting Microsoft support just as everyone has suggested so they know it is an issue for people and also so you can give your son his gift quicker

    Please contact support as soon as possible but also make sure this wasnt a technical issue that happens from time to time on purchases and money issues. Please check xbox live status first before you make any drastic measures
