    Why can’t I access Minecraft after I’ve migrated the account to Microsoft?


    I’m trying to log into the same account I migrated to Microsoft. I migrated the account from Mojang to Microsoft last year. Every time I try to log into the Minecraft launcher, it tells me to completely buy the game again, and I can only play the demo version of the game. I used to be able to play normally, but after I got a new pc, it all just stopped working. I know for certain that I’m using the right credentials, and I’m not sure what’s wrong. Is there any fix for this issue?

    Missing Microsoft account.

    Look i’m gonna be honest, i’m having a panic attack right now as i think i’ve just lost 6 years of my minecraft account. I migrated it to a microsoft account and I can’t remember any of the details to, I only know that it is linked to my email (that i have access to).

    It is either that problem or the fact that minecraft java is no longer on my account and i don’t know why?

    Hi Uso. My name is Kyle and I'm an independent advisor.

    Once a Minecraft account is migrated to a Microsoft account, it is permanently associated with that account. Unfortunately, you can't change this after migrating.

    To clarify, you are having issues accessing Minecraft on the account you migrated it to?

    How to know which Microsoft account is linked to my PSN account.

    I’ve tried Sony support. They said they are unable to help as they can’t access the data required, as Minecraft/Mojang is under Microsoft license . Do I need to contact Microsoft Support to access them to access the data?

    Please read my post again, I specifically mention that I have tried to click on sign in with Microsoft and that’s when I get the error.

    I migrated to the Microsoft account and it won’t let me sign in now. I can’t even try it just gives me an error.

    I just want to play Minecraft a game I’ve been playing since 2011.
