Why cant I access Guardians of the Galaxy?

I downloaded Guardians of the Galaxy via Game Pass and now I cannot access it. If I go to my games, it shows that it is installed. In Game Pass it shows that it is installed. However, the Microsoft store shows that it is not. When I attempt to open it, it says there's a user sign in error. Please advise.

I was under the impression that games downloaded via game pass were permanently available and not only during their duration.

That is no longer part of Game Pass. You may need to purchase the game to play it.

Microsoft published games tend to stay on gamepass permanently but if a game from another dev/publisher is put on gamepass then it's only on there for a few months.
