    "Namco said today the download key for the Xbox 360 backwards compatible title will be sent within 7-10 days when ordered through the Xbox Store."

    I also read somewhere that if the code is not received by the 29th of february that I should make a post about it here.

    Dark souls code for xbox one

    I preordered dark souls 3 to get the code for dark souls 1 I pre ordered on Feb 16th it is no march 3rd. I got my code for dark souls 1 today march 3rd but when I try to redeem the code it says I already own this game but when I lock for it in my downloads
    it isn't there for my xbox one and that is where I wanna play it. When will dark souls 1 be backwards compatibility on the XBOX ONE so I can redeem my code and play my game.

    Perhaps the issue could be a regional one. Which country do you live in and is your gamertag set to the same country?

    Hi there dark souls 1 is not yet backwards compatibly so that is why you have not received a code once it is you will get a message on Xbox one to redeem a code.

    That is because the game is not backwards compatible yet. You will not be able to download and play Dark Souls until it has been added to the Backwards Compatibility list.
