Why can I sometimes not report people's messages?

I don't know why but sometimes it's hard for people to just block and report people that break the rules.

I don't believe you guys perform investigations into why someone reported someone especially in the case of reporting messages I have reported someone for being rude in messages and I got a message saying someone I have reported had been banned well if you
guys investigate then wouldn't you communicate with the person who reported and the person who got reported instead of just doing oh hey look there's some curse words here's a comm ban it's awfully immature tbh besides you have to be 18+ or have parental
consent to even create a x box live account so why so strictly enforce a no profanity agenda in messages Skype or any form of communication people are just childish sometimes and report for no reason then the person who is reported has to suffer for the childish
actions of others your babyfying x box live

If you reported the messages he or she sent you they will get to them because they get over one thousand reports a day so they have to go through them all to see if they are false or true reports because a lot of people report for no reason so they have
to investigate and it does take a couple days sometimes a month but patience is the key always remember to report the messages and profile as soon as you can

You can also report them and explain why in the comment box. If Xbox is alerted by messages of people who may harm themselves or others, they can get involved.

ok so the community standards and code of conduct are there to protect everyone. be sure in future to avoid messaging these people back and just report them. all reports are looked into but sometimes it can take a little while due to the vast amount of
players in the community and the vast amount of reports made. if you have reported them please be patient your report will be taken seriously and dealt with accordingly.
