Why can I not play at 1440p 120Hz with HDR?

    Hi everyone.

I had purchase a new monitor Lenovo g27q-20. It allow 1440p, 165 hz, HDR, Freesync premium, and his pannel is IPS, with a HDMI 2.0 port. It can run Games in a PC gamer at 1440p 120Hz with HDR10 on and also Freesync on using the HDMI 2.0 port, but in my Xbox Series X I can't play with HDR10 at the same resolution and fresh rate.

Reading on the net, I found many articles of 2020 and the first half of 2021 discussing this topic. Since Xbox One S HDR is block with only 4K resolution, and that is my concern, Why is only on 4k resolution?

I can play with HDR in my monitor allowing the 4k in my console but playing at 2160p, 60Hz and obviusly I prefer to play in 1440p with 120Hz and for it I need to disallow the 4K in my console.

Is Microsoft or Xbox team planning to add HDR10 to 1440p/QHD resolution at 120hz fresh rate on a near future? Why is it block to only 4K resolution since 2016?

    Thanks for your help.

    :)
