    Why can I not launch my Xbox one games from my external hard drive, even after upgrading...


    I've been sick and tired of having to spend the time moving a game from storage space to storage space, followed by being forced to upgrade it, then moving it back to make room for new games, then being unable to launch the game I just upgraded just because it's sitting in the external hard drive.

    If the series s can only launch enhanced games from the internal hard drive, even after the upgrade process and movement of software, that's completely ridiculous. Is there a fix? Or is this just the way it is?

    I have all my games installed on my external hard drive and I don't have any problems. The only thing that happens is it has to take 5 seconds to load when you launch a game or app for the first time from the external hard drive. After that, it opens up
    without any delay. I bought a 1TB hard drive and it works flawlessly.

    I pluged an external Hard Drive, I've installed:

    -Halo 4

    -Halo Anniversary

    -The walking Dead Survival Instinct

    Only The Walking Dead launch from the external Hard Drive, other games launch from disc.

    But why????

    I use a 5TB external hard drive and it suits my needs. I've had my Xbox One since launch and I just hit about 85% on my hard drive storage. I have nearly 250 games installed. I highly suggest to anyone considering an external hard drive to invest in a
    nice sizable one.

    I am having trouble with my external hard drive on my xbox one and ever since that new update my xbox one wont recognize that my external hard drive is plugged in I have tried the trouble shooting steps and nothing seems to work and my external hard drive
    is a 3.0 Toshiba external drive is this problem going to be fixed before its released to the general public because I want to play my games that are saved to that drive can anyone tell me if this problem is even being looked into at all
