Why can I not join or host multiplayer matches?

On numerous games including Minecraft, Battlefield 1, and Red Dead Redemption 2 I can play the single player modes fine but I immediately get disconnected from the multiplayer ones. I have been having these troubles for the past few weeks now and there
seems to be no fix to it except destroying my Xbox One which I'm really tempted to do. On Minecraft it gets stuck on the Locating Server screen and after a few minutes of that it disconnects me from the server and according to the people on the match, it says
I left the game but it never says I joined it. On Battlefield 1 I can join into a multiplayer match and I could successfully play in it for a few minutes and then it disconnects me from the server. On Red Dead Redemption 2 I can also join a multiplayer server
for a few minutes and what do you know it disconnects me. Another thing for Minecraft is that it does that to the people who want to join my world but it doesn't do that for when they're joining other people's worlds. Minecraft has done this whole thing before
but it never disconnects me from the server, it just gets stuck on Locating Server. Battlefield 1 does also have a habit of letting me join a multiplayer match and waiting until I have the best game ever to just disconnect me from the server. The thing is
though is that Minecraft does this randomly for periods of about a week and Battlefield 1 only does this very randomly and I think it may just be that it seems to always be on a full server. The one thing all three games have in common though is that it lets
me join the server for about 1-3 minutes before disconnecting me from the server. I have suffered through this for 3 weeks now and there doesn't seem to be a fix. I've deleted these games and then re-downloaded them, I've reset my Xbox numerous times, I've
also unplugged my router numerous times, etc. but none of these have worked. The weird thing is my Xbox Live is fine and I can join parties. Like I said, I've suffered through this for weeks while my friends have had so much fun on multiplayer while I just
sit there bored playing single player so please help!

Greetings WaysideMicrobe8,

My question for you would be are you having issues with your Nat type? Sometimes unplugging your router/modem can fix it but if there is a "Nat type: moderate" or " Nat type: Strict" that would be your number one issue right there. If that is the case, you
would have to get a hold of your ISP ( Internet Service provider a.k.a Comcast, Century link, AT&T) to open ports/ port forwarding or you could do it yourself. I will leave links for you and I hope they help.

This maybe an issue with your network or your gold status for multiplayer may have expired, hope this was helpful

Hello and yes I've tried this and my NAT type says Open.

Yes, I am able to log on and talk with friends. I can even join multiplayer games when they host.

Why can I not join or host multiplayer matches?
