    Hello anybody,

    I’ve had Minecraft for years now and have been playing multiplayer for as long as I can remember, I recall purchasing game pass for the fun of it a couple months back and the. Canceling it because I didn’t find myself using any of the free games or benefits. After canceling my game pass I no longer have the option of playing multiplayer on Minecraft, it says “you cannot play multiplayer because of how your Microsoft account is set up.” Then goes on to say I need to check if I have a game pass subscription. It currently says I have version 1.21.7201.0 if somebody could help me out with this soon I’d like to play the game with my girlfriend again. Thank you!

    Game Pass is the same thing as Xbox Live now. It used to be called Gold and that was discontinued and turned into Game Pass Core. A subscription has always been required to play online.

    If you're on console, Game Pass Core (at the least) is required to play online.
