Why can I hear the game volume but not the call

    Why can I hear the game volume but not the call


    I can hear the game and the shows perfectly, but for some reason I can't hear call volume at all, I tried to adjust the game/chat volumes but it still wouldn't work, I then tried to update it but it didn't have any updates so I was stuck, I don't know what to do and I still don't know how to fix my headset, the headset that I have is one of the newer ones, which is the wireless Xbox series x headset

    Question, I can hear the game audio, but I cant change the chat volume, yet I can still hear my friends in party's and game chat. The only way I can change how loud there voice is to change the game volume on my X12. I tried going to preferences and voice,
    but when I switch to play through headset, I don't hear my friends. Is there anyway I can change my friends voice volume? Because chat volume doesn't work on game chat and party chat.

    I am sure you can just lower the volume in the settings for the music, but why would you not want to hear such beautiful music?

    I was able to hear my xbox one trough my old turtle beaches hooked up to my 360 only drawback is when I lower the volume to not hear screaming kids or *** online it does not do anything I can still hear the game volume but can't lower players voice volume:(

    How have you got your headset connected?

    I ask because as there are separate volume controls for chat and game sound you should not encounter this problem.

    You want Voice Output in Console Preferences, to play through the headsets too.. Otherwise, you won't hear the voice chat with headset on etc..
