Why can I buy a DLC when it’s legit NOT possible to install

Hi Rostom, thank you for your reply. I have tried the above steps but still getting the same DLC not installed error. Yes it only seems to happen to this game and this particular DLC, I can play the other DLCs fine but when I try to go onto this one it gives me that error. When I click go to store I'm given the choice to buy the dlc but when I check my games I can see that particular dlc already downloaded. The weird thing is I managed to get it to work last night but as soon as I've tried today it's giving me the error message again. 😢

you may have bought it from a legit site but did you buy the xbox version by mistake as it needs to be purchased for each platform you want it on. that is why it probably can't install as it is looking for an xbox on your account to install to.

First they dont like people buying pre owned, now people who (legit) get it early ? whats next the game wont play unless u buy the newest DLC?

At this point, I'd be happy with a dedicated DLC play list so I can actually play on the maps I payed for. Not a temporary one. A permanent one.

And, I don't think people are too cheap to buy the DLC. I think people have wised up and everyone is starting to realize, why buy the DLC when it will never show up in MP seeing as there is no DLC playlist?

My drive must be legit. It's the one that came in the Xbox 360 when it was bought new from Best Buy. If it isn't legit, it would be Microsoft installing a non-legit drive (which doesn't seem likely).

From research, it does appear that the drive is causing the problem. My guess is that the hidden second partition that is used for XBOX original games is corrupt, and so my issue may be a warranty issue. I'll be taking it back to Best Buy and getting a
replacement and hopefully that will solve my problems.
