Why ask for a refund and can still install the program?

Hi there,

An update was put in place a month or so ago where you can now install a game without purchase. You would still need to buy the game to play it though.

This was done to make accessing the game more easier and to ensure you could get to play the game quicker essentially you can pre install a game before purchase. One example is if you were waiting for your physical copy to be delivered in the post you could
save time by installing the game before it arrives ensuring that you can dive straight into the game when you recieve it

Install the game again, if it does not work so you can ask for a refund.

Thanks for your reply! We will not know if your refund will be approved or not until it is submitted, that is why we asked that you still go through the process so that we can know the outcome.

I let Forza download overnight and it installed according to the Windows Store but in the Xbox (Beta) program is still asking me to install.

I can run it fine although when I tried to open the WindowsApps folder, I had to manually add myself as owner of the folder via the security tab.... I think it might be time for a fresh Windows installation

I had the same problem and could not download it!

Download and install this program, it worked for me, but I still can not run the program!
