    I bought red dead 2 story mode thinking I would only have to buy that but no you need the online mode as well to even play the story mode so I bought the full game and sent in a refund request for the story mode(it was cheaper to buy the full game ($34)than get the online mode($30 for story mode plus $29 for online mode)) anyways I was declined the refund so I sent in an email and the response was a hard no.

    I just want to say don’t buy game directly from Xbox they will scam you and take you money.

    I think I’m going to go to the ACCC

    The terms of getting a refund restrict the amount of time that you can play a game and still be eligible for a refund. If you had played the Story Mode less than 2 hours, and purchased it less than 14 days ago, you might have been eligible.

    Next time read the requirements of the content that you purchase.

    I bought and xbox series s about 2 months ago. The whole time i’ve had it it has been a **** terrible. The controler already doesn’t work. It was never smashed or anything But just doesn’t turn on not with a cord or battery’s. Than the console doesn’t install games every second it says install stopped. Now it’s saying i need to free up space to be able to download a game. Do you want to know the **** issue what that. I have over 140 gb free. that’s the **** issue. Give me a damn refund.
    First and foremost, this is a mostly community ran forum. Almost everyone who will reply to you here doesnt work for Microsoft and are simply fellow gamers.

    That being said, you would have to go back to whatever retailer you bought it from if you want a refund for the system but im not sure they will take it back after two months.

    If they dont take it back then your best option would be to go through the warranty process:
