Why aren't there games for Xbox one?

you do not like the selection and ESRB ratings on what is available is your issue.

As parents, did you investigate the games coming to the console before

Given Nintendo's penchant for keeping games family friendly that isn't surprising.

And maybe you should do some research into the game lineup on a console before buying
one.

The people who buy $500 consoles are not , in general, people with kids. The people who buy $500 consoles are adults who are early adopters.

Xbox One Games on Forum Card?

Is there any particular reason why Xbox One games aren't showing up on our forum GT cards?

 

Why aren't some games updating

So, I set my xbox one to pre-download 4k content and some games did get updates. I switched over to xbox one x and some of my games still haven't updated even though they are listed as xbox one x enhanced.

Specifically Assasin's creed origins which I am playing now. When I do the both bumpers, start select on controller it says assets installed is Durango only. A few other games do say Scorpio but no AC. Why not?

Is this a known issue? has the 4k content not dropped yet?

Kinda feeling like I wasted money if i'm not fully getting the benefits of the new console.

Would love some input.

 

There's more better exclusive games on the Xbox one than the PS4, my reasoning for it first. But with all new consoles there won't be a lot of games, if you bought any previous consoles on release before you should know that.

I'll plan on getting a PS4 once more exclusives comes out for it.

 

How about Lego Marvels? I hear it a very fun game for all ages. Game developers don't release their games all at the same time, it hurts their sales, usually early spring and fall are the best times for game releases, and Xbox One just barely caught the
fall season, so more awesome games are on the way.

 

Pretty ignorant to complain about the lack of games at the start of a new generation.

There are 19 listed for the Xbox One. A 4 game delta is nothing to write home about.

I let my 8 year old play DR3 he loves zombies and think the game is a blast....just stay away from the hooker clothes and G strings!

I'm not having a go but surely after spending this sort of money you would have checked the games it released with, what games were due to be released and when?

 

It depends on what your kids are into but Zoo Tycoon is kid friendly but it's more the management aspect of having a zoo. Powerstar Golf is fun but might be considered too difficult for younger kids.

 

It takes a while to make a game.

Whenever a new console launches, there will only be a few games because developers haven't had much time with the console yet.

A select few have access to the console while it's still being developed, but creating games at that point is expensive. The console changes specs many times before it's actual consumer release.

Kids games generally don't have huge sales. So companies would have a tough time breaking even on sales if they made a kids game at that time.

So most developers don't start on games until the final hardware is released.

 

OP is a troll, together with Almond88. That amount of money on a product you have no clue about? If its a real story your either a mum/dad who's been miss-advised at a game store or bought it as an impulse buy, in which case you can only be responsible for
your own actions. Either way I don't believe it seeing as you have the knowledge to come searching on these forums and start a slating thread? Why did you not use this amount of time on the research of the product to start with?.
