    Why are you now geolocking the Xbox one stores Microsoft?


    One of the original features of the xbox one was the ability to purchase, region free, games from other marketplaces, over the last few weeks, stores have started to have been geolocked, and now it seems they all are.

    Why has this been done now, when it was originally a feature.

    The Minecraft i have is so different than my friend

    I was bought Minecraft but not played it till now but i see so many different things than my friend I have (Minecraft - Buy Minecraft - Microsoft Store) he has (Minecraft: Xbox One Edition - Buy Minecraft: Xbox One Edition - Microsoft Store)
    so why there are two different editions to xbox one? why i can't download the
    Minecraft: Xbox One Edition?

    You are right! You bought the "Xbox One Complete bundle" what includes: Xbox One plus 2 games PLUS 12 month GOLD membership! Still in store online for now $699.

    The region-free nature of the games is supposed to apply to discs. I don't know about geolocking any online stores, but it's not a suggested/supported/recommended way of accessing games to be switching your account region and buying digital games from elsewhere
    and that's always been the case.

    Also.it's geolocked ao if you do not live in a supported region you can't access ir

    They are series x servers ao bc compatibility is limited to Xbox one and some 260 games on xcloud
