why are we not alowed to pay for due payments on a subscription with xbox wallet money

ok so i just find it really angering that we cant pay for lets just say the xbox game pass unless we have a credit card that has money on it and not the money that is already on the console

what does it mean by pay the balance due?

i was paying for a monthly subscription on line but i cancelled it and i bought a 3 month gold subscription card and I put the code in and my payment was declined and it said that I have to pay the balance due and I don't understand
why I have to pay more money for it.

 

You can pay for xbox game pass using the funds in your Microsoft account.

However as I mentioned in your previous post only a debit card or paypal can be used for a past due payment balance

Why this is I have no idea but that is the only option available

 

As you can see xbox game pass can be purchased with Microsoft Account balance. You do however need a secondary payment option also in the event not enough funds are in your account

 

i know that but im talking about subscription due payment and the inability to pay them off with xbox funds

(sorry if i sound angry im just disappointed that Microsoft Didn't think of it)

 

The ability to even pay with funds is relatively new. Up until recently the Microsoft account balance has never been a valid payment option for any form of subscription. So most likely that side of things have not been updated.

 

For subscriptions like Gold, it requires a debit card or PayPal. The credits are only used to buy things in the store.
