    Why are there so many Xbox Apps for PC and how could they all be worse than the others?


    I'm trying to understand this, I have 3 different apps, and nothing seems to work unless all 3 are installed and running. The Xbox app, the Xbox Console Companion app, and the Xbox Game Bar. Oh, and that's after the old Xbox app got replaced with the Console Companion, lol... Half the time, the regular Xbox app, i.e. not the Console Companion or the Game Bar, won't sign me in. I click sign in and just nothing happens. I close the app and reopen it and it flashes me as signed in and then it's gone and the "Sign-in" button does nothing.

    The Console Companion says that it's defunct and was replaced with the Xbox app, but also I can't do anything without it, so....?

    The Game Bar is a new requirement as of about a week ago. Minecraft randomly stopped working and would not start again until after I found and installed the Game Bar. Fun fact, the Game Bar currently does nothing as of a couple hours ago. If I click it to open it, because it refuses to open on startup, nothing happens, so that's probably what's currently causing the Xbox app to refuse to sign in, maybe?

    I cannot stress this enough, it should be illegal to be this bad at making software and still be allowed to exist.

    So, if anyone has any ideas how to make all this **** software behave in a reasonable manner, I'm all ears. Otherwise, I guess this is just a rant about how horrifically bad Microsoft is at making software. I've been playing around on computers for over 20 years and I have never seen a collection of more garbage software.

    VUDU app failing on Xbox since early March

    Ok this is more a comment than any real help but... If you have a smart tv why not use a Vudu app for it? Relying on a Xbox for a Vudu app or any other streaming service is kinda strange to me considering there are so many other ways to view them.

    I didn't think they could make the app worse than it already was but somehow they managed. The 360 version of the app was about perfect. I can't find the most recent videos for my subscribed channels. And navigation is a nightmare. All in all one of

    You want graphics to look better well here you go.

    Yes, they tried to squeeze all new stuff (weather, water waves, etc.) into Xbox 360 so that's why BF4 looks worse than BF3
