why are their so many online only games?

Ok on some of the things i ve read and thanks for yall s posts.i this tread and i forgot to mention on this board is maninly what i mean next gen, kno wi know its been only half a year since both system have been out but still ive picked up three games i
wanted to play not knowing they wore strictly online till i got home or half way home. know i was going to get them anyway but still. i do see its clearly onthe label, but somtimes im not think straight, not sure why. i did this with the wwe network not seeing
the 6 month commentment. any who.

I have many single player games on ps3 and sbx 360 and love them. and i aslo very rarely touch mulitplayer because i suck really bad. even if i play for 3 months i still suck. but i do gain more and more kills eatch time but hay.i just dont play online.Know
if games have story co op lol thats awsome and i play the hell out of that when i have the people to play with but usualy they move on to other games and dont want to play any more or just want to play multiplayer.

Dead Rising 3 can be played in single player or co-op,not sure about the local co-op though.

Great game.

Titanfall is online only.There are plenty of single player games coming out over the next few months with plenty more on the way.

The online only thing is just a sign of the times i think,i prefer a developer do that rather than making a multiplayer game & then tacking on a shody single player bit.

WOW SO TOTAL different ansews lol, got this on sony to ,more of a positive over their. anyways im going to get ryse soon and i got cod on 4,so no unless its free or it get below 40. is Titan fall is strictly online, i have forza its ok, i like nfs why i
was disappointed in rivals.I do read the back but if i really want it ill get it. Xbx one is in my sig including 360. Is dead rising strictly online, and is their couch coop? thanks for your posts.
