Why are the forums showing nearly everyone as Silver members?

Lately I have noticed that everyone is showing up as silver members (zero stars, zero gamer score, no custom gamer picture). Is this only me that's seeing this?

Hey Darth Kitana,

You are showing as a Silver account here on the forums for me. That would explain why you can't connect to player vs. player as Silver account do not support online multiplayer activity.

 

Xbox Gold Tenure Reset

Right now you're still showing as a Silver account. That will be why you are not showing tenure.

 

It's a clever way to make us thing our Gold expired and renew. Crafty Microsoft...very crafty! Lol.

I've been seeing it for well over a week or 2 now. What's really weird is that it's inconsistent - sometimes I see my info and sometimes I don't, and the same goes for other profiles. For example, as I type this, I don't see my info or D33dles' info either,
but I can see yours as clear as day, RagingCanadian...

 

It's a known issue. But it's only tied to the forums not your actual account so no need to worry about loss of XBL Gold.

They are not going to say anything more than it's know and being looked into. Can you blame them? If they said anything else the threads would start - "blah blah blah, you said this and that would be fixed by this time Waa, waa, waa. Boohoo, boohoo "

 

^ That. It's kinda like the forums not showing your Xbox One games played and other "known issues" with the forums. They haven't been fixed in pretty much 2 years, so expect to deal with
this for a while. Any of the 10 or so forum "regs" who come here should know by now that these forums aren't exactly at the top of anyone's priority list.

This has only happened to me once though and a fresh of the page fixed it.

 

The forums were a lot more exciting when I first joined (9 years ago now, maybe?). There were issues like this back then too. Eh, what do you expect from "free"? This isn't a money-maker for MS in any sense of the word.

 

I feel like since the Xbox one came out issues have gotten worse. I was expecting there to be an update to see your recently played Xbox One games too but that has never come. Kinda like LameLefty said. The forums aren't really the top priority.
