Why are the controllers such junk?

My "A" button has started to stick & not be very responsive as a result, but I think that's more likely my fault than some sort of design flaw.

 

Both side pieces are removable plates. If you analyze them you can tell they were built with being removed in mind. I highly feel that we will see custom replaceable side panels in the future!

•as for internal parts of course they are built shoddy. The little plastic sensor pad inside the inner joystick is made with the weakest grade plastic ever. Your drifting thumb sticks mean the small plastic circle piece has been crack either from frequent
play, or some type of abuse wether caused by you or during shipping.

•I am pretty aggressive with my controllers and have been through 100+ easy.

With tons of non working controllers at my disposal you best believe I have dissected many of them!

Or the pad that is meant to detect and then depress your button once pressed is seen it's last days!

 

Because it's the first batch....I hope they offer 360 controllers at some point.

 

Since launch night, my controller has hit the hard tile floor at least 100 times. Hard. This thing isn't even showing any signs of wear and tear at all. It's a tank. I'm cool with it.

 

Hah yeah dropped mine several times too no problems. Dropped my gears 360 controller 1 time and it hit the bumper and it never worked right. Tried taking it apart to fix but no luck.

 

It is very reinforced. At the same time it feels very hollow and weak.

I still really like the design though.

Not sure how I feel about the extra rumblers in the triggers though. Seems pointless too me?

 

I have 2 and both work and feel great. (only issue is that they don't aim properly every time!!!!!) Hopefully they can sort out any manufacturing issues soon.

 

You will never get a company to spend more on materiel that's is not meant to see the light of day.

Even more sturdier controllers will never exist! Unless we want to spend 100-150 on a controller

 

I prefer the X1 controller over the 360 controller.

 

I'm actually anxious to try the X1 controller. i love the 360 controller so I'm sure I'll love the X1 controller as well.

 

Iv got a day one and had no problems

 

The controller is sleek. Some people are not very happy with the bumpers but it is easy to get used too

 

I have like 3 broken controller on the 360. I play alot of games on them. So they had a good life. Spiceally the one that I had with my frist 360.

 

I enjoy the Xbox One controller over the 360. Mine works fine.
