    Why are specific movies “not playable on my device”?


    Essentially I’m aiming to digitally purchase movies I’ve had digitally play on my console before. But for some reason in store they show as not playable on my device. Before I spend my money, I was hoping to understand why all of a sudden; Terrifier and Terrifier 2 are not playable in my device. Which I will reiterate. Have digitally, through microsoft.. Played on my device QUITE successfully from start to finish, once before. Literally the exact same way. My friend signed in on his account at my place and we watched it. He bought it, he can play it. I’m stumped.

    It played, even after it said that it wasn't playable on my device. I thought I was screwed because I accidentally pressed buy. But just in case I went to watch it and it worked just fine.

    Can you download movies purchased on Xbox One on a USB?

    You can download movies to your PC using the Movies & TV app, however, they won't be playable on other devices.

    Hi,

    It's a bug and one that MS have yet to acknowledge (at least at the time of writing anyway). The work around is to buy desired game via the website and then download it from your library.

    You are misunderstanding how it works

    You can pre-order games all you want doesn't mean you can download and play series s/x consoles games

    Xbox one games are just xbox one games it doesn't matter which xbox one you have all xbox one games work with xbox one

    This is why series consoles are labeled series not xbox one series s
