Why are some games not available for purchase on the Xbox Store?

I am new on the platform and I want to start playing some old xbox one games like Forza Motorsport 5, Forza Horizon 2 and some other games but it's not available on the xbox store, why?

Some games were just never made available. Other games, like the Forza games you mentioned, have been delisted for licensing reasons.

So that means the only way to play these games is using a bluray copy, right?

Use the Microsoft Store app. The Xbox app is showing Game Pass games and Minecraft is not available through Game Pass for PC which is why it's not showing.

Some games can be purchased on the console and redownloaded for free on the PC because they are Play Anywhere titles. Unfortunately Minecraft is not one of those. https://www.xbox.com/en-US/games/xbox-play-anywhere Some games may also just be part of the Game Pass you purchased .
