Why are players allowed to still blatantly cheat & use aimbots in battlefield games

Up to EA to sort as it is their servers, when you report on Xbox about cheating in that game the report goes to Microsoft then to EA as Microsoft have no access to see anything on EA's servers, if EA see cheating they are suppose to let Xbox know and then action can be taken, not sure if EA are doing anything.

Nearly all third party games online servers are run and paid for by the devs/publisher of their games.

I can certainly understand you're frustration with people using aimbots, etc in games. I know I get upset when I suspect someone myself.

What you should do when you see someone cheating is to use the online reporting tools to report the person. Go to their bio and choose Report or Block then follow the instructions to report the person. Afterwards select Block to prevent them from messaging you or make it less likely to be in the same lobby as them.

You only need to report the person once for the enforcement team to investigate. I would also recommend contacting EA support to find out what they're doing regarding cheaters in their game as well. https://help.ea.com/en/contact-us/?product=batt...

While there are popular games like Call of Duty or GTA V on the older Xbox 360 where the console has to be modified to allow unsigned code to run (i.e. Aimbots), there usually are only multi-platform games that allow crossplay (like Fortnite) on the PC that
can use Aimbots.

Also, those games are not made or published by Microsoft.

If you play games on the Xbox One that are ONLY played on Xbox One hardware (so no backwards compatible 360 titles, and no crossplay titles), you should have no issues with aimbots, as there are no hacked Xbox One consoles yet that could run aimbot code.

The only thing you can do is to report the profile who you think is using unauthorized tools like aimbots. If they use a modified Xbox 360 console, Xbox can try to ban the console from accessing Xbox Live.

And after reporting a player, the Enforcement Team can force themselves into a game lobby to observe the cheating player.

If they can find evidence that this player is playing unfairly, they can then suspend that account.

However, confirming your report takes time, as the Enforcement Team really is a team of human beings that actually check and review your report, so you can't falsely accuse someone of cheating.

So be patient, and block that profile that you found cheating. If possible, Xbox Live will more or less try to not matchmake you with profiles you blocked.

This really frustrates me as well, I honestly don't see the point of cheating what are they accomplishing? They already have an aiming advantage over console players then they must still attempt to use aimbots. The only thing to really do is just report
the players. I know Rare do try and ban those players.

Aimbots may exist on PC or offline Xbox matches but as for online MP matches, there are no aimbots. Even if it may seem like cheating there will always be exceptional players out there. Some people just naturally excel at Cod.
