Why are people getting banned so easily these days?

So this guy on call of duty who was disregarding objectives and camping for kills was ruining the game and enjoyment for the lobby. I decided to call him out in it and called a camper. Him and his buddies reported me and I recieved a notice of enforcement
action. Come to find out I was suspended for 24 hours for communication. I told my friends about it and one of them as well have gotten suspended this year without reason.

I tried filing for a case report but would not let me since it was only a 24 hour suspension. Out of my 10 years of playing xbox live I have never been suspened and let's be real, there is no apparent consideration for the fact that the game is rated mature. Is
this what Xbox live has come to? People abusing the report feature either because their feelings were hurt or they decided to be punks? This needs to be addressed

Why are they punishing people for the Clan Tag buttons?

its an exploit and thats why people are getting banned for it and i hope they continue to ban every single one of these people that do it.

 

SO WHEN WILL THEY FIX THIS GAME?

I'm sick to death of it. Hacks, hacks and more hacks. Why aren't these people getting banned? Any other game and they'd be suspended instantly.

 

well let's break it down

Let's see your "friend" has been banned for a year well there is no such thing as a year ban

That's a perm.ban

Hate to burst your bubble your friend is lying to you

Perm bans aren't issued unless there is a lot of violations and is investigated multiple times

And FYI only 1% of live users are affected by enforcement

And yes you must be rated e for everyone

That is the same rule a cross multiple consoles

Why don't you join 99.9% of live and follow the rules

You don't get suspended for no reason.

People can spam the report feature,you will not be suspended for false reports.In fact anyone who abuses the report feature will be suspended themselves.

The age rating on a game has nothing to do with xbox live which every game tells you when you play the online multiplayer part of it.

Age ratings relate to the single player content only & means that a person under that age can't buy the game,it does not mean they can not play the game.

Anything you do on xbox live must be rated E for everyone.

An email is sent to the address linked to your account telling you why you were suspended or you can check on the enforcement site

Cursing is a violation there is no ifs or buts about it

As daft mentioned cursing is a violation you cannot dispute that nor can you say you are immune to the rules because you didn't start the fight
