Why are notifications hidden on the bottom menu now?

The new change in the notification location on the xbox menu is terrible, any way to change it back?

Howdy!

I don't believe you can change the guide menu back to the old layout, but for quick navigation you can tap the controller right trigger to jump down to the Notifications/bottom row of the guide.

To disable specific notifications in the Xbox app. goto Menu (The 3 lines in the top left corner) > Setting (At the bottom) > Notifications.

You can now move the hidden save as well by using the transfer content 'tool' on your 360.

Highlight the device with the hidden save on and press Y. Then go to the bottom option and you'll see them.

Unfortunately, it's not possible to retrieve your full notification history.

You can view your available notifications on your console by pressing the Xbox button to open the guide, and then selecting the bell icon at the bottom.

Notifications no longer displayed in the notifications menu cannot be recovered.

It's working for me now. There seems to have been some sort of hidden update because now I'm getting a news notification about the star club tournament that wasn't there before yesterday. No ad lockup for me since that appeared.

Why are notifications hidden on the bottom menu now?
