Why are not HBO and Movistar+ apps?

Discus and support Why are not HBO and Movistar+ apps? in XBoX Games and Apps to solve the problem; I am a XBOX consumer in Spain and I do not understand why neither HBO nor Movistar + are not available for XBOX ONE.     Why are not HBO and Movistar+ apps?


    I am a XBOX consumer in Spain and I do not understand why neither HBO nor Movistar + are not available for XBOX ONE. These two apps would make this console more useful and would give more excuses to buy it.

    HBO Go in Hungary not available

    The HBO GO application is not available in Hungary.

    There is no plugin in Microsoft Edge that lets you watch HBO GO.

    Please explain why they do not support HBO GO in Hungary?

    HBO NOW/GO

    HBO GO is for cable subscribers which has an Xbox app. This is why the options are all for cable providers and does not include Apple. HBO NOW is the direct HBO subscription through iTunes/Apple which does NOT (currently) have an Xbox app. I'm in the exact
    same boat. There is a kind of lame workaround though (link below) but requires an additional subscription app to work.

    to those that make comments like i already have this on cable or sat so why do i need it on xbox?

    these apps work diffrently than their counterparts on cable sat do. for instance i have at&t uverse with tv recording ability.

    lets picj hbo go for comparison i have hbo on tv so i get the hbo app on xbox for no extra fee. on tv i can record hbo but i cant go back an wacth hbo shows that i havent or forgot to record. on the xbox hbo go app i can wacth an entire series from first
    to last season at anytime i want. you cant do that on any hbo channel on tv. this is the benefit to most if not all the tv channel based appps on live.

    What services are provided for Gold Memberships?

    You get access to apps like Netflix and HBO GO. Not sure why you have to be Gold for that but you do.
