Why are my Xbox One headsets aren't working?

So for some reason all my XB1 headsets are acting up. This isn't sudden but is a lingering issue. I recently got a new controller and figured that would solve everything but no. Whenever I try to talk in game and party chat, it says I'm not talking in the
chat. Sometimes it says I'm talking but most of the time it doesn't. I can hear perfectly fine. I used a turtle beach headset for a while called Xofour I think. I tried out 3 different headsets and all give me the same problem. I even tried to go into a party
by myself so that way I would know it has nothing to do with lag. Nothing. Whenever I use my kinect mic it's perfectly fine. I just wanna know if that I'm just unlucky and all 3 headsets are no good or is there a solution or people experience the same thing.

Xbox one controller with headset.

I've had my Xbox one with the same controllers and headset for two years exactly now. Suddenly my Xbox one controllers die after a minute or two from plugging in my turtle beaches. When they aren't plugged in they are fine and last their full battery. Is
it the controllers or the headset that's broken? Is there a way to fix them?

 

Mic suddenly not working?

so i have tried 3 different mics, but for some reason my headsets aren't working? I have one thats a turtle beach headset, plugged into a adapter, and another is the default headset that came with the xbox.

It lets me hear everything, sounds from the game, and party chat, and even pics up feedback still but isn't letting my voice come through at all. I'm definitely not muted and my privacy settings are all adult. So idk why but it's not working? What can I
do? It's happened twice now and I don't wanna buy a new headset/adapter when I splashed out on my turtle beach one already.

 

I'm having the same problem I think. None of my normal Xbone chat mics work (I have 2 of them) and neither does my new turtle beach. Yesterday it was working fine around 4pm, got off for an hour and when i came back on none of them were working. I can't
even hear the game volume on the turtle beach, but if I turn the volume up to the max I hear that beeping sound. For me it seems like a controller issue, I don't know about you though, but I would like a solution for this because its very frustrating

 

I'm having this issue to. When I first got the console, the headset was the only problem, as with all the hacks and problems, I just thought maybe I'm lucky with a once of problem. The headset made no noise when you turned it up, there was no static in the
ear piece which usually lets you know it's on, and when I went into upload studio to add a voice-over it just said 'please insert a mic etc etc'. So I took the mic back and got it replaced, and the mic made the static sounds, and the beeping noise when you
turn it up, but did it work? Nope. It doesn't say I'm speaking, I can't hear anyone, and the upload studio still tells me I have no headset in when I do. So exactly the same here.

This is an extreme annoyance, and a problem, and they really need to sort it out!

They need to fix the mics AND the parties. This is absolutely ridiculous...I have a stereo headset that will not work (I just love spending $50 on a headset that will not work) and have already had to go purchase a standard xbone headset bc the original
stopped working. And the parties are dreadful. They don't even work most of the time...awful. Makes me want to go back to the 360 or get a PS4...

It has now been 3 weeks for me with this problem. Hopefully they will compensate us for our lost chatting time with gold. Still, we are missing out on precious (in this day and age) gaming time with friends.

 

Tried troubleshooting I still have this issue funny thing is both my mics work fine on my ps4 but dont work on x1
