Why are my rewards points working on browser but not through xbox?

There was an update recently and anyone under 18 can no longer earn Rewards through Game Pass Quests. If you're over 18, you'll want to contact Rewards support via the contact link at the very bottom of the Rewards site.

I was trying to redeem them on my Win10 PC through the Edge browser.

I tried another browser (Chrome) but same problem occurred with redeeming and trying to contact tech support.

I then went to my Xbox 1 S and used the Rewards app there and was able to redeem my points.

This has been answered with the sharing links, but I would also add that you should try the Microsoft rewards program. We are a three gaming console household and I have Ultimate covered for the next couple years through rewards points. I earn points via
browser searches, mobile searches, Xbox/Gamepass App and regular Microsoft/Xbox purchases. Even if it covers one of your gold accounts, it would probably be worth it. I estimate it takes me about 30 min a day to get through my points earning activities, but
I work from home so it might be easier for me than most. I should also add, I am in the US and I'm guessing you might be AU, but the rewards program should still work there. Honestly, its pretty decent rewards program and I've been really happy with it.

I earn reward points by using Bing as my browser search, Edge for browsing and also on my phone. I think Xbox Gold costs around 30k or 36k rewards points which sounds like a lot but 3k points is pretty easy to do in a month. I don't think I have paid
for Gold in 3 or 4 years since I started using Bing. The quizzes can be fun too and give you 30 - 50 points. Then you can earn a few hundred a day in searches alone. I think you can earn points through Xbox game quests too.
