    Why are my downloads taking forever?


    Im on xbox series x. I noticed the other week when downloading an update that my download rate in the queue starts high and rapidly drops until it is no longer showing. I've run the network tests and it's always above 100mbps (up and down). I've checked my streaming apps and they all work with no problem. My online gaming works great too. Only happens when I'm downloading a game or update.

    If in any case that the first option did not work, please do port forwarding and it would also be best to reach out with your internet provider to help out with opening ports from the router settings.

    I have a dedicated line running strait to my house, it is not shared.

    I have tried connecting directly, but it doesn't change anything.

    I will just buy a new router and contact my ISP to see if anything is wrong on their end.
