    Why are my achievements not unlocking?


    I haven't been able to unlock a single achievement over 5 different games in 6 days, despite me going for and finishing the requirements for at least 20 different achievements. Why and how is this happening, and how the **** do I fix it?

    Why are my Achievements not working right???

    Hello... my name is DFN Dishonered, you can just call me Sevco. Over multiple games I have played some achievements are not working. When this happens i usually rely on Youtube walkthroughs to see if I did it right. And when I see I do it right, I do it
    again, and again, and again, about to the point to shoving my head into a wall...

    Please help...

    P.S. An example of a achievement not working is Halo Reach's "Came to Hear me Beg" achievement...

    I have NEVER heard that Halo achievements were ever bugged, and all Halo achievements have worked just fine for me.

    That particular achievement is one of the hardest to pull of in Reach, that is true. Took me dozens of attempts to get it. But i have NEVER heard of the achievement being bugged.

    Day One Achievement Not Unlocking

    I'm not trying to nag, but I'm just wondering why my Day One Achievement has not unlocked while most of the people posting in this thread have unlocked their achievement. I PM'd my info earlier.

    HI, Currently there is a service alert for achievements not unlocking. This is probably the reason why you couldn't unlock the achievements.

    I am sorry to hear about what happened. This is clearly not the situation I want you to be in. Let's see what we can do about that here.

    May I know if it's more than 72 hours since you completed your achievements? If it's not yet, please wait up to 72 hours because it could take up to that timeframe before your achievements get validated through the Xbox network.

    I also suggest that you check the official thread below about achievements issues and try all the recommended steps. If none is working, please file a bug directly to Team Xbox. The link and guide are on that thread.

    Nevermind that is not why this happens. Its just some random glitch that happens to random people in random games. This just happened to my friend the other day. He fixed it by unlocking another achievement in the game. The problem with my glitch though
    is that it glitched on the very last achievement i unlocked so I can't unlock any more.
