    Why are all the controllers skipping and is this fixable


    I bought an Xbox from someone online he claimed the only issue was the joy stick on the controller, every time i move the joy stick and D pad it skips a good 2 or 3 tabs. But its happening with all the xbox controllers in my house that I’ve tried on this
    xbox. So i know for a fact it’s not the controllers but the console itself. Is this fixable?

    I read over your concern and I suggest you may try updating the console and the controllers.

    Make sure your console is up to date by

    Press the Xbox button to open the guide, choose System >
    Updates & Downloads > Update Console

    Make sure your controllers are up to date by

    Press the Xbox button to open the guide, choose System > Settings > Devices
    & streaming     > Accessories, and then select the controller you want to update.

    Does this happen when the controller(s) are hooked up wired as well or only if they are connected wireless?
