Why an I getting flickering in games on my Series S?

I'm noticing a lot of texture and text flickering in certain games. Mainly all Xbox one games. In Killing Floor 2 text flickers in menus. In Far Cry 4 flickering in textures in outside areas on rocky terrain flickers. In RE4 the leafs outside flickers when you move Leon in any direction. I Also have this game on Switch and it most definitely doesn't do that. Sharpness is at zero so it's not a artifact with too much sharpening. I'm starting to chalk it up to the system itself for how it's outputting to the tv. I may be wrong though. All I know is this is majorly unacceptable on a device geared to play older non enhanced games. I had to delete these games because they were triggering migraines from all the flickering.

Does anyone know why it's happening or how to fix it.

Edit: Not my TV. I tried this on two different series S consoles on two separate TVs. Same thing.

Hi, I hope you're doing great out there despite the issue that you're experiencing. I am an Independent advisor and I am here to help you in regards to your concern.

Please reset your console to factory default keeping your games and apps. Don't worry because as long as you're connected to Xbox Live your saved progress, games, will not be deleted. It will remove all of your accounts but you can add all of them later on.

Press the Xbox button to open the guide.

Select Profile & system > Settings > System > Console info.

Select Reset console.

Reset and keep my games & apps.

Why is that y'all's answer for everything? Because of this issue I've already owned 3 series s consoles. I have already done that. It's a problem within the hardware itself for the way it handles older games.

I apologize for the trouble. In that case, you may need to get the console repaired. To do so, kindly sign in to https://account.microsoft.com/devices and then add your console as a device. If it's already added kindly click "Info & Support" to create an order.

Obsessive Power

Dying Light 2 is a big game and highly anticipated. Series S owners are paying a next-gen price for the game and will wonder why they're only getting a last gen 30 fps performance.

Remember, you're not stuck with the Series S version. When availability gets better you can always exchange your S for an X. When you upgrade, you'll get access to all the Series X features for this and other games.

I have exactly the same issue today with the Xbox Series X but not the S.

tried multiple displays and multiples HDMI cable.
