Why am I unable to access live?

No seriously, that's what I want to know? Why can I not sign in? If something is wrong, as a paying consumer, why was I not informed? Either fix it, or at least have the courtesy to tell me when it is down, and why.

I'm having the same problem. It works fine on my Xbox one but not my 360. Can't log in, can't connect to wifi, and it keeps saying it's my wifi, but it's connected and fine. They need to fix this

 

I'm here to help. There are currently no problems with the status of Xbox live. If you can connect to your One but not the 360 I would suggest a full power cycle unplug everything including your router and modem if you have one. I have to do this when switching
between my PS 3,computer,and my Xbox 360. If that doesn't help please let me know and I will try to offer a better suggestion.

 

Sorry I forgot to add the time. Everything should be unplugged for no less than 5 minutes. Then start by plugging in your modem first if you have one,wait till its fully online then plug in your router. Once all the light are on then plug in your 360 and
test your connection before signing in.Again if this doesn't work I will do my best to find another solution for you.

 

Another possible solution you could try is redownloading your profile. Instead of signing in try:

Scroll over to the right when you first start up your 360 and select option "Download Profile"

It will bring up a screen that has 2 options "Can't access your account?" And " Download Profile" select Download profile. From there you'll be asked for your email and password and then it will download your profile.( NOTE: THIS MAY TAKE AWHILE) That seems
to be what most players have had to do. Hope this helps
