    Why am I seeing travel ads on my Xbox home screen?


    I've paid for the console. I pay for Gold/Game Pass. I pay for games.

    So WHY am I seeing third party advertisements (a travel agency in this case) on my Xbox home screen?

    Microsoft did the same in Windows 10.

    Ads in a free game? Sure. But not with a subscription system!!!

    Fix this REALLY fast!!!

    Woah !! Ok...never experienced that personnaly on my Xbox One, just have some add for Xbox Gold or Game Pass subscriptions, but that !?!? It's clearly annoying without being disturbing.

    I see posts like this pop up time after time. There is not and never has been anything stating that "if you have gold or game pass then you will not have ads". If thats something users wanted I could see it turning into gold now running more money just
    to not have ads on your console. The reality is, for the service and quality of service everyone gets, ads are an important part of generating revenue to keep it running.

    Sorry to burst your bubble, but it's just an ad. No points in the MS Rewards Program (which isn't working here anyway... can do what I want with Bing, but no points are added).

    And there's marketing enough already! Gold, Game Pass, new games, movies.

    But a travel agency...

    So now on default FW. From Europe and only started seeing ads a few weeks ago.
