    Why am i now age restricted?


    I have been using gamepass for a while with no real problems, but recently after renewing it with a card i bought, it says i have age restrictions, despite me never having that problem prior and being over 18 myself. it is preventing me from downloading and even viewing gamepass games on the catalog, however the few games i had downloaded prior running out still work but are not able to be downloaded again after. it seems im only rated E, cant even see or install a teen rated game. despite having loads of hours on bannerlord. why the change now?

    alright after some more research, and misunderstanding on my end, so repairing the apps did not work, but after a full restart again and logging out of the xbox app it self and signing back in. it now is back to normal.

    ok im old enough to download "M" rated games but everytime i try to it says my account is unable to download games with this rating so why cant I download the MW3 mapppack

    you need to be an adult account which is 18 not 17

    you can queue anything from xbox.com including purchased games

    you will have to adjust family settings to allow purchases of premium content under privacy settings

    this however does not affect m rated or rp rated demos and trailers which fall under international laws rather then parental permissions
