Why am I not getting my notifications on my iPhone or my Xbox

I getting achievements but not the notifications on the xbox all the time however I am getting the notifications on my iPhone via the Xbox app.

Its strange.

Why am i not getting any notifications on my xbox but im getting them on my phone or tablet,why is it doing this ?

In settings, there is an option to turn on or off for notifications.

I need to start playing it again. I keep getting workout notifications from the Nike+ app on my iPhone. I always ignore them though. The app on the iPhone is pretty cool btw.
