Why am I not able to play multiplayer Remnant 2 on Xbox S console ?

Hi Rodrigo, I manually changed the DNS setting as you suggested, unfortunately that made no difference. I still get the "create session failed" notice as before. I did restart the console with the new DNS settings still no change.

Vanessa, thanks for your help! I've verified all the things you suggested. I'm able to use the browser app from my series S console and open various sites and content. My connections look solid, download speed is 600mbps upload at 31mbps. Multiplayer check says I'm good to go. Network status displays the info you suggest it should. My NAT type is open/ sometimes moderate? I haven't tried to re-install the game yet (Remnant 2) it's a bit scary give the progress on several characters. Sounds like that might be the next thing to try though, what do you think?

Hi Rodrigo, Yes, so far, it's been Remnant 2 with the problem. I don't normally run multiplayer but, I have been able to join multiplayer on Eldin Ring a few months back. I haven't tried that in awhile, BTW, I'm running the console hard wired to my modem (not a wireless network connection) I did try, and was able to run some cloud only titles on the console albeit not multiplayer.

Your setup seems to be all okay, wired connection, and open NAT, it's strange that you are having these issues.

Is this happening only with Remnant II?

Please, if you know how to do it, make a Wi-Fi hotspot router on your phone and connect to it.

That way we can isolate the issue, by testing another internet connection, using your mobile data plan.
