Why am I not able to log in-to 3rd party Minecraft clients due to microsoft account DOB...

As for your case, please go to account.microsoft.com/profile -> Sign into your account and see if it's underage, if it's underage, you can modify the DOB to the right one. Afterwards, go to family.microsoft.com -> See if you are in a family group, if you are, leave the family group.

If you can't change your DOB because it's grayed out, that means you are not marked as a "Child" and some other Microsoft Account is the "Adult" that can manage your account privacy settings.

If so, please go to family.microsoft.com -> See who is the organizer. -- Once you have seen who is the organizer, you won't see anything else other than the name, try to figure out who is the organizer, once you figure out the email of the organizer, go to "https://account.live.com/mykids.aspx" -> Select "Edit this child's personal info" -> Change your DOB.

P, only you as a user or your parents can change the privacy settings of an account, to do this you must go to the link: https://account.xbox.com/settings You must place all the items that appear in the list in "Allow"

In case yours is a minor account, it will not allow you to make any changes to the settings from your account, you will need to have an adult include your account in a family group from the link: https://support.xbox.com/en-US/help/family-onli... and then that adult can make all the changes.

Note When you grant applications permissions on a limited console, they are saved only on that console. If you use multiple consoles, make sure you grant permissions to your applications on all of them.

Is there any way that mojang or whoever is running this whole migration thing to be able to switch email when logging into Minecraft ? Because I have the same problem as the person that asked the question. And I’ve had this problem for a few days. I migrated my account and thought I could change my email. So I did. And when I tried logging into 3rd party clients with the old email it says sign in with the account you used to migrate. I cannot play on 3rd party clients anymore because they won’t accept my log in. I can play on the original Minecraft launcher but that’s not the problem. I really hope that they allow to change the email when signing into your Microsoft/mojang account because I really don’t what to do. I’ve contacted mojang customer support as well as Microsoft about this situation but my problem is not fixed . Sorry if I’ve bothered anyone with this but any help is appreciated. Idk if this makes any sense omg

did not help at all. and no its not a problem with the browser cause i cant log in to xbox too. and i had minecraft in this account but now it says i dont have minecraft account in this account. like what is actually going on with microsoft ? I can even proove that i had minecraft because at the time i had minecraft i played using lunar client and badlion client and i had minecraft purchased using the email address that I am having trouble logging into. I can proove I had minecraft because when i log into lunar or badlion client using this email address they log me into my account with exact same username and the skin. please give me some solutions i asked miencraft about this and they said they cannot help and i have to ask from microsoft.

I was able to log off of my Microsoft account in-game and then re-logged which fixed the name issue.

To do so:

1. click on the top right button that opens up your party/game session.

2. then click on your name plate and selected change profile.

3. log into your Microsoft account again and it should display the correct gamer-tag.

This was done on the Steam version so I am unsure if this may help players using the Microsoft client.
