Why am I missing Xbox one captures

I will occasionally record clips from games, mainly multiversus. I didn’t have them set to upload to the Xbox network (I changed the setting now because of this issue). Recently I wanted to upload these clips to the network so I could show my friends, but when I went to begin uploading, I only saw 4 recent captures then all the other captures were 2 months old or more and I know I recorded a good amount. Only change I noticed recently was Xbox seemed to have changed how they do screen recording and stuff, so maybe that update messed things up, I don’t know, but I just want to see if there’s anything that can be done?

Hi, I hope you're doing great out there. I am an Independent advisor and I am here to help you in regard to your concern.

We just need to perform troubleshooting steps to prevent this from happening again but I apologize because we may not be able to recover the previous game clips that were not recorded successfully.

To fix this, please follow the steps below:

"1. Press the Xbox button to open the guide.

2. Select System > Settings > Preferences.

3. Under Capture & share, please choose don't allow game captures

Then we will powercycle:

1. Turn off your console by holding the Xbox button on the front of the console for approximately 10 seconds. The console will turn off.

2. Turn your console back on by pressing the Xbox button on the console or the Xbox button on your controller.

Lastly, Allow the game captures again:

1. Press the Xbox button to open the guide.

2. Select System > Settings > Preferences.

3. Under Capture & share, please choose allow game captures"

I picked up on his missing captures. Thanks though. I am trying an alternative. Did you check the App-Upload Studio on your Xbox One yet?

tried that its not there

am i missing something? when i turn game on capture and control is there in the list when i click on it i get a message says it needs to be downloaded click A it takes me to a screen with 40K banners and the "capture and control" banner says click
A to unlock. Click on A and it takes me to the list of DL content but its not there. i have the dreadnought chaos and capture the flag add ons but cant play capture and control as its not in the list

I finally got it, now I have every pin and the only patch that I am missing is capture 100 flags.
