Why am I having constant problems with he Blu Ray app?

The wife and I have bought Season 1-3 of Game of Thrones on Blu Ray instead of DVD cause I wanted to watch the show at it's best. But, for some reasons or another, I keep having problems with it. Like the One saying that there is no disc in the tray, that
the disc is dirty, or it even ejected the disc once. Now I know that the discs are not dirty as I just bought the damned things. It takes me a good 5 minutes before it actually works. Taking the disc in and out, turning it off and on, hard and soft resets,
and closing the app and restarting it. I shouldn't be having this much trouble with the stupid thing... Should I?

Audio Delay With Blue Ray

I did some research and found that launch, many people had problems with the blue ray player(app) causing audio delay. I bought my xbox one on black friday this year and I am having trouble with audio delay while watching a blue ray movie.

This is my main blue ray player but I am displeased that I can't watch my blue ray movies now. What is the cause of this and how can I solve it? Thank you

I'm having the same problem with games. I have to place my hand on the console and hold down on a certain spot in order for it to recognize the disk. Obviously this is an issue that should not be happening. I should file a claim and send it in for repair,
but I just really don't feel like being without my Xbox.

Yeah I have none of these issues with Blu-ray or disc. Sounds like a bad drive.

Ya know, i just don't get it. I am in California, never have seen a blu ray update on my XBOne. To this day, almost 4 "system updates" later, my blu ray's & DVD's have audio sync problems. Watched the Lego movie last night (blu ray) and it was off. My
kids are asking why Will Ferral's lips didn't match words? sigh......

Not pertinent to this thread, but the Amazon Instant Video app still gives stuttering playback, the MLB app freezes and does not work half the time. I have Verizon Quantum Fios folks! Like 60 over 30!

My PS4 you ask? My Blu-Ray works perfect. Amazon app streams flawlessly and MLB app never has a problem.

XBone Support, are u listening? This thread is 30 pages deep! Publicly acknowledge the problem. UPDATE the blu ray app! My 360 in basement never had a problem with any of this plus could distinguish the DTS vs DOLBY signal without my having to physically
change it like XBone.

I have the app fully updated, reset the console to default settings, cleared the blu ray app data, let the disc auto-play, played the disc manually, set the blu ray app to not remember the last played position, etc.

It just refuses to play certain blu rays, anybody else have Jojo Rabbit on blu ray and able to confirm the problem?

YCC was not enabled but, but color was, No updates for blu ray app. I am thinking it is the blu ray app as netflix on xbox outputs Dolby Vision without issue
