    Im trying to login to my Xbox account but i keep getting a “something went wrong” message saying that “the application made too many requests” and every time I hit retry, the same screen pops up. Can anyone help?

    Hi Kerry,

    Thank you for posting in Microsoft Xbox Community. I'm sorry to hear that you are having issues logging in to your console. I understand that you're getting an error message every time you try to login.

    To make sure that what you are experiencing is not related to your device cache, I would recommend that you perform a power cycle. Please note that this is different from a regular restart, Kindly follow the steps below.

    1. Turn off your console by holding the Xbox button on the front of the console for approximately 10 seconds. The console will turn off.

    2. Unplug the console's power cable. Wait 50 seconds.

    Important: Make sure that you wait at least 50 seconds. This step resets the power supply.

    3. Turn your console back on by pressing the Xbox button on the console or the Xbox button on your controller.

    If you don't see the green boot-up animation when the console restarts, repeat these steps. Make sure that you hold the power button until the console completely shuts down.

    Important If your console is in Sleep mode, the above steps will shut the console off completely. Sleep mode, or the ability to turn on your console by saying "Xbox on," won't be enabled until you restart the console. Once booted up, try to sign back in.

    If you're still having issues, press the Xbox button, select Profile & system, and then select Sign out to sign out and back in to resync your profile.

    Hey, went through the process on the series x and when I made it to check firmware I received a 'something went wrong. Your controller is already up to date' message instead of allowing me to revert firmware.

    I am in UK and did go through that link the issue is hdmi port isnt working so was going through hardware, then warranty as its not even 5 months old and then series X and get to the phone call back bit and put my phone number in and i am getting the message saying something went wrong at our end

    Today I turned on my xbox and it was updating, after getting to about 95% I got a something went wrong message, and attempted to restart it about 10 times. I then tried using the offline update but again kept getting a something went wrong message 70-90% of
    the way through. I then tried to reset the xbox to factory default and again am getting a something went wrong message (Error code E200 0000007e then more 0s. (all codes have began E200). Is there anything else I can try?
